9 to 5

A Note From the Director

9 to 5 has been popular with audiences since the 1980 film. This story tackles the issue of gender discrimination in the work force, an issue important to us all. Our three leading women, Violet, Doralee, and Judy, form an unlikely friendship to defeat their sexist boss in a hilarious and moving production.

We are so excited to finally present our production of 9 to 5. When we announced this show over a year ago, we never thought we would be doing it like we are. We first rehearsed 9 to 5 entirely over Zoom last year, and everyone is so ecstatic to finally have put the show on stage for our first live audience since February of 2020. Heidelberg is proud to present the long anticipated 9 to 5, and we hope you enjoy the show!
