Zach Abraham is a freshman at Heidelberg University this spring. He is currently pursuing a degree in both Musical Theatre as well as Business Administration. Zach is also a member of the Concert Choir on campus. He is excited for everyone in the audience to witness what is set to be the most “interesting” performances he has had the honor of being in. Zach would like to thank his many supporters in Marion, as well as his musical theatre family here in Tiffin. Zach wishes everyone to break a leg with 9 to 5: The Musical!

Lizzie Bowman is a third year student at Heidelberg University, majoring in Musical Theatre and History with a minor in Literature. In the past she has been in and while attending Heidelberg, The Music Man (Mrs. Squires), Mamma Mia! (Chorus), Cabaret (Rosie), Oedipus Rex (Chorus), She Kills Monsters (Agnes) and Freaky Friday (Gretchen) and Dance Nation (Sofia). Lizzie has also been a production member in The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Nighttime and The Penguin Tango.

Elayna Brock is a sophomore musical theatre major at Heidelberg University, she has appeared as the Sphinx, in the Greek Plays, Joan in Fun Home, Torrey in Freaky Friday, Ashlee in Dance Nation, ensemble member in Heathers, and most recently Maria in 9 to 5. Elayna is excited to be back on the stage once again this year, but she couldn’t do it without the love and support of her friends and family. She also wants to thank the amazing cast and crew for the hard work and dedication.

Gavin Buurma is a Junior Musical Theatre major, with a minor in Business Administration and Theatre Education from Willard, Ohio. He has performed in various productions at Heidelberg including Mamma Mia!, The Music Man, The Penguin Tango, Shakespeare's Macbeth, Cabaret, Fun Home, Puffs, and Elf. Gavin is a member of the Hei-Notes and a Student Ambassador. He would like to thank his friends and family, especially his mom, for all of their support. The cast and crew have worked incredibly hard throughout the pandemic and he is very excited for everyone to see this show LIVE!

Bri Clark is a sophomore Musical Theater major and is on track to get her MBA. She has participated in theatrical shows pretty much her whole life. Bri has been in multiple shows here at Heidelberg including Cabaret, Oedipus, She Kills Monsters, Freaky Friday, Elf, and Heathers. Bri is excited for her future here at Heidelberg as well as what will follow once she graduates.

Sean Cook is a freshman here at Heidelberg University. He is double majoring in Musical Theatre and Business. Sean is stoked to be a part of the shows and to meet new people. He can’t wait for you to see what the cast has been working on these past few weeks.

Chantress DeWitt is a freshman Musical Theatre major, with a minor in business and theatre education. Chantress is from Cardington, OH and attended Cardington-Lincoln High School. This is her fourth  production here at Heidelberg. She was in the ensemble for Elf, the ensemble for Heathers, and was part of the production team for Puffs. Chantress would like to thank her cast and crew members for making this production so special. She would also like to thank her family and friends for their support.

Riley Gibson is a junior at Heidelberg University majoring in musical theatre. She has participated in 23 productions throughout her middle school, high school, and college career. At Heidelberg, she has been in The Music Man, Macbeth, Mamma Mia!, Cabaret, She Kills Monsters, Freaky Friday, Elf, Dance Nation and Heathers. She has also been in Titanic at The Ritz Theatre. She has worked production on the shows Curious Incident of the Dog in the Nighttime, Penguin Tango, and Dog Sees God. She also has assistant directed the shows Lysistrata, Oedipus and Elf.

Caira Goldstein is a Senior at Heidelberg University. She is a Musical Theatre major. She was previously in Heathers, Elf, Fun Home, Lysistrata, Oedipus Rex, Macbeth, Music Man, Cabaret, The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Nighttime, Mamma Mia, Sister Act, A Grand Night for Singing, and acted/assistant directed/choreographed Dance Nation. She was also the assistant director for Freaky Friday. She performed in the masterclasses of Tom Cippulo and Jeff Blumenkrantz here at Heidelberg and directed a Drew Gasparini album review. She would also like to thank Stephen and David for giving her these wonderful opportunities. Caira thanks you for your endless support throughout her time at Heidelberg and hopes you enjoy the show!

Gretta Griesbach is a sophomore Theatre Major here at Heidelberg University. She has been performing in productions all throughout middle school and high school. She has performed on the Heidelberg stage in 'She Kills Monsters', 'Freaky Friday', 'Elf', 'Dog Sees God’, and ‘Heathers.’  Gretta is super excited to be back acting on the stage and would like to thank everyone for their support for this production! She wants to especially thank the cast and crew for their hard work and dedication towards this amazing show!

Derek CJ Gulley is grateful to collaborate with Heidelberg University Theatre as a Guest Artist! Recent credits include Short North Stage productions of Saturday Night Fever (Frank Manero Jr.) and Rocky Horror (Eddie/Dr. Scott), and The Butterfly Guild production of Mamma Mia (Pepper).  A graduate of the Conservatory of Music at Capital University, Derek also received training as an apprentice at The Barn Theatre (MI) following the footsteps of “Famous Barnies” Jennifer Garner, Lauren Graham, Jonathan Larson, and Marin Mazzie. Favorite credits include Hairspray (Fender) featuring Robert Newman from TV’s Guiding Light, and Bonnie & Clyde (Buck). Derek would like to give thanks to Stephen and David for this opportunity, and to the entire cast and crew for a welcoming and inspiring experience at The ‘Berg! All my love to the new girl, Judy (Lo)!

 

Paige Hood is currently a Junior at Heidelberg University where she is A Pre-Med and musical theater double major. 9 to 5 will be Paige’s 9th performance for HU Theater. Paige studied voice and theater at the Beck Center of the Arts for 10 years. Paige’s past performances include Cinderella (Cinderella), Pippin (Fastrada), Mary Poppins (Winifred Banks ), The music Man, Macbeth, Mamma Mia, The Penguin Tango ( Gomez)  Cabaret ( Texas) Oedipus ( Jocasta) Freaky Friday ( Savannah) Heather Chandler ( Heathers). Paige is also a National Anthem performer and has performed at Progressive Field, Lake Erie Crushers Stadium, 4th of July Avon Lake Celebration and the Ohio Fallen Police/Firefighters Memorial. Paige was lead vocalist for The Frats rock band, finalists in the 2017 Cleveland Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Rock Off. Paige is thrilled to be performing in 9 to 5 and would like to thank her family and friends for all their love and support. She would also like to thank the cast and crew of 9 to 5 for their incredible work in putting on this show in less than 3 weeks time. Their tireless efforts were an inspiration throughout this process. 

 

Lo Erin Jackson is a recent musical theatre graduate and current MBA student at Heidelberg. Some of her favorite credits include Jo March in “Little Women,” Sister Mary Robert in “Sister Act,” Marian Paroo in “The Music Man,” and Martha Dunstock in “Heathers.” Lo is an alumni of Zeta Theta Psi, Rho Eta Delta, and Alpha Psi Omega. She is incredibly grateful that she gets to perform as Judy Bernly, one of her dream roles, in her final performance at Heidelberg. Lo would like to thank her family and friends for their love and support and the Heidelberg theatre community for being her home for the past four years.

 

Jack Mills is a freshmen musical theatre major. He has performed in Heidelberg’s production’s of Freaky Friday, Elf, Heathers The Musical, and he was Luke in Dance Nation. He is very excited to play the role of Josh in Heidelberg’s production of 9 to 5. He is a part of Heinotes. He wants to thank his friends and family for their continuous support. Kamryn Mohney is an accounting and musical theater double major at Heidelberg University. Kamryn is a second year student and debuted on the Gundlach Theatre stage as Fraulein Kost in Cabaret as a freshman. A few other roles Kamryn has enjoyed while being at Heidelberg, is Medium Allison in Fun Home and Ellie Blake in Freaky Friday. Her most recent role was Heather McNamara in Heathers. She is a part of Hei Notes here on campus. Kamryn would love to thank her friends and family for all of their support. Kamryn has been involved with theater since the seventh grade and is delighted to continue her journey at Heidelberg.

James Ogle is a senior at Heidelberg University studying Musical Theatre.  James is not only a performer but also designs wigs/makeup for the shows. He has worked as an intern for Des Moines Metro Opera summer 2019 festival and will return as the wig/makeup artisan staff member for the Summer 2021 festival. Heidelberg has become home to James and while his time is coming to an end he has loved his time at Heidelberg!

Solana Petrone is a sophomore Musical Theatre major here at Heidelberg and is thrilled to be back on the stage and making beautiful art through the pandemic. She has previously appeared in Cabaret (Kit Kat Dancer, Trumpet), Oedipus (chorus), Lysistrata (Old Woman), and Dance Nation (Zuzu), and was an Assistant Director on the recent production of Heathers. She is so excited to continue her theatre career at Heidelberg. She would like to thank Stephen and David for believing in her and trusting her with this role.

Ben Pollizi is a sophomore musical theater major and so excited to finally be able to perform 9 to 5! This semester he has been seen in Dog Sees God as Beethoven and in Puffs as Oliver Rivers, among other roles. Taylor Richardson is a Junior Acting and English Writing Major and Theatre Education Minor from Dayton, OH. 9 to 5 is her 9th onstage production with Heidelberg University. Previously she has been seen as Megan Jones in Puffs, Myrrhine in Lysistrata, and Grandma/Others in Freaky Friday as well as hair and makeup designer for Puffs and Lysistrata and ASM for Elf and Heathers. She is incredibly thankful for the opportunity to keep performing during this crazy time and would like to thank her friends and family for their constant support.

Jasmine Ridler is a junior Theatre and History double major with a Business minor. She is joyed and relieved to be playing Roz in the long-awaited Dolly Parton’s 9 to 5. Previously, she had an exciting directorial debut with the Charlie Brown rework play Dog Sees God. Following her debut, Jasmine worked as the Assistant Director and Dramaturg for Puffs: Seven Increasingly Interesting Years at a Certain School of Magic and Magic. She has also recently been noted for her acting work as Ms. Fleming/Veronica’s Mom in Heathers: the Musical and her production work as Assistant Music Director and understudy for Ellie in Freaky Friday. Outside of theatre, Jasmine is the President of Berg Allies, the Founder of the Body Positivity Club, Game Master of Make-A-Scene Improv Comedy Troupe, a Euglossian Society Corollary member, Member of the theatre honorary Alpha Psi Omega, and a proud member of her sorority Kappa Psi Omega. She would like to thank Stephen Svoboda and David Cotter for their belief in her and passion for helping her grow. And she would like to thank her partner Em Swain for their love and support.

 

Hannah Schoen is a Junior musical theatre major at Heidelberg. Since coming to Heidelberg she has done The Music Man, The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Nighttime, The Penguin Tango, Lysistrata, Oedipus, She Kills Monsters, Elf, Puffs, Heathers, and finally 9 to 5. She has also been involved in Hei-notes, has worked wardrobe and designing in previous shows, and is a member Alpha Psi Omega. She hopes to continue to learn more about acting, singing and costume design in the future here at Heidelberg.Thank you and enjoy the show!

 

Kathryn Stalnaker is a Sophomore here at Heidelberg University. She is an Early Childhood Education and Intervention Special Major. She is a part of the ensemble for this production of 9 to 5. This is Kathryn’s second show here at Heidelberg, but 5th show overall. She would like to thank all of those that have always supported her and continue to support her.
